I began my business doing miniature shows in the Milwaukee-Chicago area. I made everything I sold. In the meantime, I was also a wife and mother with three children and taught in the Milwaukee Public Schools. The amount of shows was increasing, time was getting shorter, so I added on miniature collectibles made by many of the artisans I met on the way. When pension time came near, I realized I wanted to do something I enjoyed and have an income as well. On a day off, I passed a shop in Thiensville, Wisconsin for rent. I called and found out the rent was inexpensive, consulted with hubby and moved my stock from my van to the shop.
Now I'm 70 years old and closed my shop to make time for grandchildren, miniature shows, and filling my internet orders. I regret closing the shop, but I'm glad to spread the miniature word wherever I go. I have eclectic taste and I'm hoping you'll enjoy what you see.
